Pineapple leaf fibre (PALF) - a natural and sustainable textile material that is obtained from the leaves of the pineapple plant.
Recycled plastic from bottles, polypropylene raffia and other plastics throughout Bali that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Seagrass - a naturally occurring flowering plant that thrives in coastal waters, forming essential underwater meadows. Unlike synthetic alternatives, seagrass material is completely natural, biodegradable, and harvested in a sustainable manner.
Palm Leaf - palm trees are fast-growing and require minimal water and pesticides, they are a renewable resource with a low environmental impact.
Rayung - a big grass with the scientific name Saccharum spontaneum. Rayung is easy to cultivate, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Mendong - a type of water grass that abundantly grows in Java, Indonesia. Mendong is harvested from community plantations that hardly need irrigation. It grows naturally without the need for additional fertilizers or other pesticides. Mendong is a quickly renewable resource as it can be harvested every 3 to 5 months. All Mendong grass is harvested by hand by local villagers. That makes it a completely sustainable material of high quality.
